In this Privacy Policy, “Personal Information” means information of a living individual which can identify the specific individual defined by Personal Information Protection Act of Japan. The Company will acquire Personal Information within the necessary scope to achieve its purpose of use in a lawful and appropriate manner and will not acquire Personal Information beyond the extent necessary to achieve these purposes, unless it has been authorized to do so by the individuals whose information will be used.

Personal Information the Company has acquired is used to achieve purposes the Company has previously communicated or previously disclosed on its website. The Company does not use personal information beyond the extent necessary to achieve these purposes, unless it has been authorized to do so by the individuals whose information will be used.
When entrusting the handling of personal information to a third party, the Company works only with third parties that are capable of properly managing personal information and clarifies with third parties the measures necessary to protect personal information. Personal information is suitably protected through proper oversight and management of its handling.

In response to disclosure, correction, usage cessation, deletion, etc. requests regarding personal data retained by the Company, the Company, upon authenticating the identification of the requesting party, takes all reasonable steps to respond as necessary.

The Company appoints its employees to be responsible for the management of personal information throughout the Company. These employees exercise proper oversight of employees handling Personal Information and lead educational, training, and other efforts to ensure strict protection of Personal Information.

When inquiries or complaints regarding the handling of personal information are received, the Company strives to take appropriate action as quickly as possible.

8. Revision of Personal Information Protection Policies
To ensure the ongoing propriety of its handling of personal information, the Company continuously improves its personal information protection policies by revising them as needed.

The Company is covered by the Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers’ Associations of Japan, an authorized personal information protection group, which receives complaints and inquiries regarding the handling of personal information by covered companies.
